JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) flew to South Kalimantan (Kalimantan), Wednesday (09/23/2015). He will review a number of sites of forest fires, land, and the area that covered with smog there.
Men from Solo to the province accompanied by the first Lady Iriana Joko Widodo, Minister of Education and Culture Anis Baswedan, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Agung, the TNI chief Gen. Gatot Nurmantyo, and Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Willem Rampangilei.
According to the plan of the group will see the location of fires in the village Guntung Damar, Banjarbaru. At this location, Jokowi will provide guidance to the soldiers and firefighters.
After the review of the location of the hotspots in Connect Lihung located in Banjar regency. President of the Communications Team Member Rinakit Sukardi said Jokowi will also review the smog-covered areas in South Kalimantan.
Previously, Jokowi also been reviewing land and forest fires in South Sumatra. An overview post, he ordered the burning forest perpetrators punished.
